Beginning the Paperwork
No matter what position you are applying for, it is necessary for you to submit
certain documents to finalize the position and acquire the correct visa.
1. After you have reviewed and signed the Contract
and Benefit Agreement, send two copies of it along with the
following documents:
a. Resume (You can email this)
b. Sealed official transcripts - no
photocopies accepted*
c. Passport copy or scan (You can email
this, too)
d. Original diploma - original diploma or
copy notarized by the Korean consulate ONLY
e. 2 color passport-pictures (though you'll
need more once you arrive in Korea)
• It is best to prepare 2
sealed/official transcripts as many consulates require you to bring in a copy
when you go to get your passport stamped
2. Send these documents to:

Double check:
• Your name must be
the same on every document
• Your signature must
be the same on every document-each time you sign! Use your passport
as a guide.
3. Use a major international mail courier such as:
DHL, FedEx, UPS, Purolator, or the like.
Be sure to mail us the tracking number of the package.
4. Once we receive your documents, we will check to
make sure everything is in order
5. If there are no problems, the documents will be
delivered to the campus where you will be working to receive
the Director's signature
6. After being signed and copied by the Director,
the documents will be submitted to the Department of
Immigration
7. Barring any problems, your visa confirmation
number will be ready in about 5~6 days
8. You will receive the confirmation number by
email from your POLY HR Contact
